Marybell (Quigley) DeSpain

Marybell DeSpain was born on June 23, 1931 in Geary, OK to Ben Borland and Sophia Josephine (Leck) Quigley. She passed away on March 26, 2020 in Weatherford, OK at the age of 88. Marybell graduated from Hinton High School, she lived a short time in Geary and most of her life in Hinton. She worked as a waitress at Nickerson Farms and Cherokee Restaurants. She was a member of the Gilbert -Fossett American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hinton. Marybell enjoyed cooking, baking, liked being around her sheep, gardening, flowers, and her grandkids and great grandchildren.

Survivors Include: her children, Janet Merz and husband Brian of Elk City, OK , and Larry DeSpain of Hinton, OK, her step-son, Gary DeSpain and wife Sherilyn of Hinton, OK, her grandchildren, Kelby Merz and wife Kelsey of Elk City, OK, Jared Merz and wife Raven of OKC,OK, Kennan Mogg and wife Kali of Mustang, OK, Coleman DeSpain and Levi DeSpain both of Elk City, OK, her step grandchildren, Lindsay Shepherd and husband Steve, and Jacob DeSpain, her great grandchildren, Emory and Blair, her brother, Dan Quigley and wife Helen of Olton, TX, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Sophia Quigley, her son, Terry DeSpain, and her brother, Robert Quigley.
