Linda Gail Taylor was born on January 4, 1946, to Alfred Gorden and Mabel Etta (Kysar) Morelock in Hinton, Oklahoma. She passed away on Saturday October 9, 2021, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 75. She lived in Hinton all of her life, graduated from Hinton High School and attended some college courses. She married Willard Taylor on June 15, 1964, at the First Christian Church in Hinton, Oklahoma.
She worked for Herman Walbaum, Henry Meyers, Hobbs Drug Store, and for the Hinton Schools as a substitute teacher and cook, Pre-School teacher for Hinton United Methodist Church, American SunMelon, Hinton Senior Citizens Center as a cook, sold curtains and blinds, mowed yards and detailed cars. She owned and operated Time to Tone, sold and painted artwork and helped Willard at Taylor Automotive. Linda enjoyed painting, sewing, crafting and being with her grandkids.
She was a member of the Red Hatters, and a board member for the Hinton Senior Citizens, 515 W Main St., Hinton, OK , 73047.
Linda accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at the age of 9, she was an active member of the First Christian Church involved in Ladies Fellowship.
Survivors Include: her husband Willard of the home, her children; Gayla Cox and husband Donnie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Danny Taylor and wife Tammy of Hinton, grandchildren; Taylor Cox of Oklahoma City, Tyler and Taryn Cox of Broken Arrow, and Addison and Amanda Taylor of Hinton, siblings; Jane Morrow of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Iva Lambert of Hinton, and Alfred “Buck” Morelock of Hinton and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Alfred Gorden and Mabel Morelock, siblings; Mary Lambert Murray and James Morelock.
Memorial donations can be made in Linda’s honor to American Liver Foundation, Hinton First Christian Church or Hinton Senior Citizens.
