Jacky L. McVicker

Jacky L. McVicker was born on April 17, 1929 in Hollis, OK to Albert and Lily (Copeland) McVicker. He passed away July 19, 2021 in Anadarko, OK at the age of 92. Jacky grew up in Hollis, OK and graduated from Ron High School in Hollis. He loved basketball, baseball, and farmed for a few years. He married Joleen Tice on July 16, 1948 in Childress, TX. They enjoyed 73 years of marriage together. Jacky and Jolene raised five children. He worked as a maintenance man for Swift Meat Company for many years. When he retired, Jacky then fished and gardened at his home at Fort Cobb Lake. He was a member of Highland Methodist Church, Fort Cobb, OK.

Survivors include: his wife, Joleen McVicker of the home Fort Cobb, OK, his children, Connie Anderson and husband, Malcolm of Fort Cobb, OK, Bob McVicker and wife Barbara of Prosper, TX, Randy McVicker of Albert, OK, and Jerry McVicker and wife Jan of San Antonio, TX, his daughter in law, Sharon McVicker of Dumas, TX, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.  

Jacky was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lilly McVicker, his son, Rusty McVicker, daughter in law, Janet McVicker, his sisters, Zola Mae Long, Louise Rohrbacker, and Joyce Ann Richards, his brothers, John D. McVicker, T.R. McVicker, and B.B. McVicker.
