Gary Carl Curlee

Gary Carl Curlee was born to Albert J. Curlee and Genevieve Hardesty Curlee on September 27, 1940, in Clarksville, Texas. He was united in marriage to Frances Johnson on December 5, 1996 in OKC,OK.

After his many years of battling and overcoming cancer, The Lord brought Gary home to farm in the heavens on January 25, 2020. Gary was always a hard-working man who worked various jobs throughout his life, some being; Vice-President of Property Management for Liberty Bank until he retired, where he promptly opened additional businesses Executive Management and Silver City Construction all while continuing his farming on the Curlee family farm. To many Gary was a Jack-of-All-Trades. However, his most cherished job was being a farmer, husband, father, and a friend.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents: AJ and Genevieve Curlee, twin brothers Ronald and Donald Curlee, and a brother-in-law Alvin Tatum.

Gary is survived by The Love of his life Frances Curlee, his children Kent Curlee, Chet Curlee and his wife Lori, Abb Curlee and his wife Wendy, all of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Tamer and husband Dathan Wray of Isabella, OK,Joshua Curlee of Tuttle, OK, and Rachel Curlee of Tuttle, OK,    sister Judy Tatum of Marlow, OK, sister-in-law Wendy Marriott of Fort Cobb, OK, 8 Grandchildren: Kyle, Dustin, Erica, Carissa, Jason, Charissa, Celsey, Jan, Carlee, Cydnee, Caitlyn, Brady, Payten, and 7 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and a nephew and numerous cousins.

Gary had a love for his family, friends, and the many people he met throughout life as he never met a stranger. Gary’s favorite saying was: “Just like Ollie North, just salute and charge the hill.”

Gary will truly be missed from this world, but we shall rejoice knowing he is with the Lord Our God and his family in heaven.
