Gary Kenneth Barrett was born May 1, 1951, in Hinton, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Mildred Barrett. Gary passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 70. Gary graduated from Hinton, Ok class of 1969. He attended Southwestern State College. He served in the 95th Division Army Reserve. He was employed by Nicor Drilling of Oklahoma City. Gary later returned to the family farm to assist with farming, ranching and bulldozer activities. His greatest enjoyments were family, hunting, motorcycling with friends and watching sports. He lived a full life and dearly loved his children and grandchildren.
Gary is preceded in death by parents Kenneth & Mildred Barrett, Daughter Brandi and Brother-law Bill Beecher. 1,
Gary is survived by sons, Brady Barrett & wife Kaci, Jeremy and wife Jennifer and daughter, Hilari
Caldwell; granddaughters, Brittney, Summer, Kennedy, Keely, Sophie, Meadow, Ivey and Presley; grandson, Keller; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss his sense of humor and good nature.
He was a loving brother to sisters, Judy Beecher of Kingfisher and Patsy Thiessen, husband Bob of Oklahoma City, nephews, Brian Beecher, Bennett & Braedan, Stace Thiessen & Jonathan, nieces, Kristi, Tamara, Aly, Aby and Anna.

A Celebration of his life will be graveside services at Hinton Cemetery, Tuesday, 2:00 PM, October 19, 2021, Hinton, OK with Rev. Lance Compton officiating, services entrusted to Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.
