Elda C. (Warren) Red

Elda C. Warren Red was born on a farm June 26, 1927 at Lookeba, Oklahoma to Jess and Ella (Snyder) Warren. She passed away on July 1, 2020 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma at the age of 93. She grew to adulthood on the farm and attended Lookeba and Sickles schools. After graduation, she and her parents moved to Oklahoma City. She worked at the Oklahoma Medical Center for many years. She married Robert B. Red, Jr. in 1960 and moved to Amarillo, except for five years in New Mexico, until she moved in 2007 to Mustang, Oklahoma to be near her family. She was a member of Westview Christian Church in Amarillo, TX, the American Legion Auxiliary #54, and since 2007 a member of Mustang Christian Church. Elda loved to travel and enjoyed attending Texas Rangers baseball. She also enjoyed spending Holidays with family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Red, Jr., her parents, Jess and Ella Warren, her brother, Robert D. Warren, her uncle, Everett Snyder, her aunts, Edna Snyder Kluver and Nannie Rose, her cousin, George Kluver, her nephew, Don Warren

Survivors Include: her niece, Velma Nelson of Binger, OK, four great nephews, Donnie Warren of Kingfisher, OK, Justin Warren of Piedmont, OK, Tommy Williams of Ninnekah, OK, and Travis Williams of Newalla, OK, one great niece, Carla Gibson of Piedmont, OK, ten great great nephews, and six great great nieces, and a host of other relatives all who reside in Oklahoma.
