Deborah Sue (Gathers) Smith

Deborah Sue Smith was born on August 11, 1954 in Ft. Smith, AR to Edward M. Sr. and Lynn Dita (Payne) Gathers. She passed away on May 2, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 67. Deborah graduated from Hinton High School in 1972 and studied accounting in College. She married Bobby Joe Bradford who preceded her in death. She later married Jimmy Glen Smith on July 3, 1982 in Willow, OK. She worked at Wal Mart, McDonalds, and at El Reno Juvenile Detention Center working with kids. She enjoyed crocheting, served as a youth pastor with the 180 Club in Weatherford, OK, and loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all those who loved her.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Ed Gathers, Sr., her mother, Lynn Dita Jones, husband Bobby Joe Bradford, husband, Jim Smith, son, Shaun Bradford, and brother, Eddie Gathers.

Survivors Include: her children, Acacia Bradford of Yukon, OK, and Skipper Bradford and wife Heather of El Reno, OK, her grandchildren, Jasmine Nichols of El Reno, OK, Dalton Bradford of El Reno, OK, Jordon Bradford of Yukon, OK, Kaleigh Campbell of Yukon, OK, Makayla Bradford of CA, Destanie Bradford of Yukon, OK, and James Bradford of Yukon, OK, her great grandchildren, Aine Bull, and Scarlett and Greyson Bradford, her mother, Esther Gathers of Hinton, OK, her siblings, Lynda Allen and husband Mike of Yukon, OK, Terry Gathers and wife Sherwana of Weatherford, OK, Earl Gathers and wife Melissa of Yukon, OK, Rebecca Brehm of TX, Richard Robinette and wife Alicia of Claremore, OK, Scott Robinette of Garber, OK and Ricky Gathers of Anadarko, OK, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
