Thomas Pryor Gore, Jr.

Thomas Pryor “Tommy” Gore, Jr. was born on May 17, 1944 in Bakersfield, CA to Thomas Pryor Sr. and Thelma Mae (Baker) Gore. He passed away on June 19, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 75. Thomas graduated from Minco High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Mary Wells on June 11, 1971 in Gracemont, OK. They lived in Minco for 30 years before moving to Gracemont. Thomas worked as a painter and worked for Braum’s Dairy Farm for 20 years. Thomas enjoyed riding his horse, watching western movies, and listening to Grandma’s crazy ideas. He also provided taxi service for his grandchildren, loved watching NASCAR and racing in his younger years, but most of all being with his family and attending family events.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Gore of Gracemont, OK, his children, Robert Gore and wife Tamara of Minco, OK, Richard Gore and wife Jennifer of Minco, OK, Becky Gore of Gracemont, OK, and Katie Beaver and husband Jeremy of Hinton, OK, his grandchildren, Jared Gore of El Reno, OK, Zachary Owen of Gracemont, OK, Avery Gore of Minco, OK, and Alexie, Donovan, and Ainsley Beaver of Hinton, OK, his siblings, Beverly Patterson of Edmond, OK, Larry Gore and wife Nancy of Chickasha, OK, Melvin Gore and wife Glenetta of Minco, OK, brother in law, Donnie Wells and wife Vicki of Chickasha, OK, sister in law, Judy Wells, step brother in law, Willard Robinson and wife Lisa of Rush Springs, OK, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, T.P. and Thelma Gore, brother in law, Billy Wells, father and mother in law, Betty and Roy Robinson.
