Robert (Bob) Eugene Seyler, Sr. was born on August 18, 1927 in Geary, OK to Elmo Elder and Ida Arlene (McKinney) Seyler. He passed away on March 24, 2019 at the age of 91. He entered the United States Army in 1945 and served during World War II. While Bob was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Bob met Mollie Norton at McCroy's 5 and 10 store. They were married and came back to Geary to make their home and raise their family. He worked for Ward Morrison, the John Deere dealer at that time. Bob was a lifelong farmer and dozer operator. He loved the land and enjoyed making the land look good. Bob received the Indian Soil Conservation Award for farmer of the Year in 1981. Bob enjoyed quiet nights listening to his hound dogs and coyotes run while visiting with the other hunters. In 1980, he helped form the Blaine County Coyote and Wolf Hunters Association. He served as President for many years. Bob received the Appreciation Award from the Lazy J. Foxpin in 2008.
Survivors Include: his children: Belinda and Tom Vaughn of Geary, C.M. Seyler and Ronna of Geary, and Christy and Larry Roper of Shawnee; his grandchildren: Chad Vaughn and wife Chari, Rob Seyler, Amber Branscum and husband Marshall, Derek Roper and wife Ashley, and Katie Baker; his great grandchildren: Karisity Mackenzie, and Chariti Vaughn, Chance Vaughn, Paislee, Colton, and Noah Branscum, and Grayson and Ashlyn Roper, as well as many other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Seyler, his parents, Elmo and Ida Seyler, son, Eugene Seyler, one sister, Norma Rae Day, as well as four grandsons, Jeff Vaughn, David Vaughn, Micah Seyler, and Phillip Baker.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, March 27, 2019, Geary, OK
