Mary Louise (Wahweah) Geary

Mary Louise Geary was born April 7, 1951 in Pawnee, OK to Samuel Buck and Edna Louise (Blackowl) Wahweah.  She passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in Yukon, OK at the age of 68.  Mary graduated from Calumet High School and earned a Degree in General Studies from Haskell Indian University.  She married Cecil Geary in 1973 in Yukon, OK.  Mary worked as a CMA in the nursing field for 24 years.  She loved playing Bingo and going to the Casino.  She was the granddaughter of Southern Cheyenne Chief John and wife Susie Blackowl.   

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Buck and Edna Wahweah, husband, Cecil Geary, son, Orin Geary, great granddaughter, Jalissa Walker and sister, Samia Wahweah.

Survivors include her children, Shawn Collins of Killen, TX, Susan Geary of Geary, OK, and Faye Geary of OKC, OK, 7 grandchildren, Calleigh, Kelsey, Jennifer, Jacob, Susan, Kierah and Elsy, 8 great grandchildren, Taliyah, Jacob, Aiyana, Lariah, Jaslynn, Jay, Kadyn, and Andre, 5 siblings, James Wahweah, Gene Wahweah, Jon Wahweah, Lenora Hill, and Aldean Franklin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services: 11AM, Friday, August, 9, 2019, First Baptist Church, Geary, OK

All Night Wake: 7PM, Thursday, C&A Community Hall, Geary, OK

Officiating: Rev. Wayon Upchego
