Lorene (Thrasher) Wilson

Lorene Wilson was born January 15, 1928 in Lookeba, Oklahoma to Walter Thrasher and Mary (Von Allman)

Thrasher.  She passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 91.  Lorene grew up in Lookeba and graduated from Lookeba High School.  She married Rube Wilson on December 27, 1946 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.  Lorene lived in the Lookeba area her entire life.  She enjoyed canning, quilting, and sewing.  Lorene was a member of the Binger Church of Christ since 1978. 

Survivors include, 2 sons; Jerry Wilson of Binger, OK, and Danny Wilson and wife Linda of Lookeba, OK, grandchildren; Cristi Williams and husband Michael, Galyn Wilson and wife Vivian and Jeff Wilson,

siblings; Bobby Warren of Binger, OK, Lonnie Warren of Lookeba, OK and Janice Elliott of Binger, OK as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Mary, husband; Rube Wilson, daughter; Carolyn Kay Wilson and siblings; Geneva Stevens, Jimmy Warren, and Larry Warren.

Services:  Tuesday, 10 AM, October 1, 2019, Church of Christ, Binger, OK

Officiating: Mr. Jeff Dodgen
