Julia Faye Brown

 Julia Faye Brown was born May 18, 1936 in Fox, Oklahoma to William Carlton and Nancy Jane (Lindsey) Pennington.  She passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at her home in El, Reno, Oklahoma at the age of 83.  Julia was one of 12 children.  She attended school and graduated from Mansfield High School.  She lived In Hitchcock, Oklahoma on The Garvey Ranch and worked as a beautician for many years.  She worked for Shuttlejack Transportation Co in Dallas, TX.  She married Richard Brown on December 15, 1990 in Marshall, Texas.  Julia enjoyed sewing, was a member of the Gild, a member of the Alter Society at Saint Charles Borremeo Catholic Church in Warr Acres, OK. 

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Brown of the home in El Reno, OK; children; Rebecca, Richard, Paul, and Melissa; 6 grandchildren; Ginger, Summer, Phillip, Jaqueline, Angela, and Michael; and 13- great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.   

 Julia was preceded in death by her parents; William and Nancy Pennington, and siblings; WC “Red,” Alonzo, Juanita, Inez, Willie Mae, Roscoe, Charles, Jesse, Wilby, Neoma Jean, and Janelle.

Viewing will be Monday September 30, 2019, and Tuesday October 1, 2019 at the Turner Funeral Home in Geary, OK from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Services: First Baptist Church, Wednesday, 2:00 pm October 2, 2019, Geary, OK
