Herbert Lee Stufflebeam

Herbert Lee Stufflebeam was born on August 1, 1946 in Santa Paula, CA to Harvey Manuel and Doris Arbie (Winkler) Stufflebeam. He passed away on November 8, 2019 in Binger, OK at the age of 73. Herbert graduated from Santa Paula High School in Santa Paula, CA where he was a track star. He moved to Stillwell, OK in May of 1966 and worked for Stillwell Canning Factory for several years. He later moved to Binger, OK and was united in marriage to Juanita Haynes Walton on August 2, 2008 in Binger, OK. He loved playing the guitar and singing Southern Gospel music. He played lead guitar for a couple of bands; he loved music and was a songwriter. Herbert also loved reading the Bible, memorizing scripture, and was a great Christian man who loved telling people about God. He was a member of the Binger Church of God in Binger, OK. Herbert had a saying, “Ain’t going to worry, ain’t going to fret, God ain’t let me down yet.”

Survivors include: his wife, Juanita Stufflebeam of Binger, OK, his step children, Geneva Gonzales and husband Felix of Weatherford, OK and Kenneth Walton and wife Sherri of MWC, OK, 5 step grandchildren, Brandy Davenport and husband Johnny of Weatherford, OK, Felicia Gonzales of Weatherford, OK, Felix P. Gonzales of Weatherford, OK, Gena Davis and Kimberly Wellman of Lookeba, OK, and Brant Walton and wife Sarah of Bartlesville, OK, his step great grandchildren, Delaney and Cooper Wad Davenport, Kenneth Lloyd Davis, Korbin Davis, Jadon Carl Walton , Thomas Everette Walton, and Jeremiah Preston Walton; his siblings, Lorene Vaughan and husband James of Bakersfield, CA, Maxine Stone and husband Roy of Binger, OK, Gilbert Stufflebeam of Binger, OK, and Hubert Stufflebeam and wife Karey of Weatherford, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Doris Stufflebeam, his sister, Leta Mae Stufflebeam.
