Frances June (Lance) DeVaughan

Frances June DeVaughan was born on June 10, 1931 in Francis, Oklahoma to Dea and Thelma (Byrd) Lance. She passed away on November 22, 2019 in Binger, Oklahoma at the age of 88. June graduated from Calera High School in Calera, OK. She and her brother, Ken Lance, had a trick roping act and they traveled to many different rodeos until she met J.C. DeVaughan. They were married on May 25, 1949 in Sherman, TX and moved to Binger, OK. June worked at Binger Public Schools. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery work and loved to bake her famous Pecan Pies. June was a member of Binger Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her children, Linda Gardner and husband Keith of Binger, OK, Keith DeVaughan and wife Debbie of Binger, OK, Debbie Naylor and husband Dan of Binger, OK, and Pam Graham and husband Gary of Norman, OK, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dea and Thelma Lance, her husband, J.C. DeVaughan, her brothers, Ken and George Lance, and her sister, Doris Pate.
