Danny Wesley Hodge

A Celebration of Life for Danny Wesley Hodge, of Binger, will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Binger. Burial will follow in the Murray Cemetery, Binger, OK. 

Danny was born July 18, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Glen and Bernice “Bonnie” Hodge.  He lived in Oklahoma City before moving to Binger.  He attended Binger Schools.  Danny’s pastime was fishing and was able to sit for hours waiting for the bite.  He enjoyed telling all his fish tales. 

 He was baptized at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Binger and enjoyed cleaning out the flower beds at the church.  The flowers were always beautiful and he loved the fellowship of his church family.  

 Danny married his high school sweetheart, Charlene Brown and to this union, two children were born, Dana Lorine and James Murl Hodge. James Murl (Bubbie) was called to his heavenly home at the age of 6. 

 Danny passed peacefully on August 3, 2019 at Yukon Integris Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his son James and his parents Glen and Bonnie.

 Danny is survived by his daughter Dana Lorine Smith and her husband, Lindsey, 1 bonus son, Charles Arnold, 4 grandchildren, Sasha Bilyeu and companion Charles, Nastasha Shook and husband Mickey,  LaTasha Smith, Rebecca Arnold and companion, Stephen Hunter, 6 great grandchildren: Eli James and Raynee, Hayden,  Waylon and Macayla, and Raiden Anthony,1 sister, Lana Smith and husband Darrel and many nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

Officiating: Rev. Father Carl Janocha

Burial: Murray Cemetery, Binger, OK
