Ava J. Howell (Morton) Whitetail

Ava Morton Whitetail was born on July 7, 1944 in Concho, OK to Samuel, Sr. and Estella C. (Warden) Morton. She passed away on September 18, 2019 in OKC, OK at the age of 75. Ava was a jack of all trades; a housewife, homemaker, ex secretary, CNA and CMA licensed, and even pumped gas for a time. She worked at Parkview Hospital in El Reno for many years. Ava was very caring and had a great love for nursing, taking care of the elderly, and taking care of her family. She was a member of Swapping Back Church in Geary, OK.

Survivors include: her children, Thelma Howell of Hinton, OK, Delos Howell of Hinton, OK, and Henry

Howell of El Reno, OK, her grandchildren, her sisters, Ella Morton of Anadarko, OK, and Pat Rowlodge of Geary, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel And Stella Morton, her brothers, Milton Morton, Samuel Morton, Jr., Delbert Morton, Levi Morton, her sisters, Cordelia Bearbow, Annebelle Morton, Linda Bacon, and Betty James.

Burial: Morton Family Cemetery, Geary, OK
