Virginia C. Ingram was born November 10, 1942, at her home on Hog Creek near Anadarko, OK. She passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie, OK, at the age of 83.  Virginia began her education in Gracemont, OK and graduated from Gracemont High School in 1960. She worked at a local café until her marriage to Curtis Ingram on September 27, 1961 in El Reno, OK.  Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Lookeba, OK, where they worked alongside Curtis’s parents at Ingram’s Grocery. After the passing of Curtis’s father in 1976, Virginia and Curt purchased and operated Ingram’s Grocery in Lookeba for many years, serving their community faithfully until 2014.  Virginia enjoyed reading and was known as an amazing cook. She enjoyed listening to music with Curt, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her so much joy. She also loved the Lord and church.  She was a member of the Lookeba Missionary Baptist Church for many years, later joining Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two children, Vanda Wall and husband Mike of Arcadia, OK, and Darren Ingram of Edmond, OK; two grandchildren, Joshua Wall and wife Millie of Brooklyn, New York, and Caleb Wall and wife Ava of Bentonville, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Wiley, River and Auden Virgie Wall; three sisters, Madeline Rinehart of Gracemont, Mary Creech of Norman, and Delpha Hawks of Anadarko; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Edna Castillo; her husband, Curtis Ingram; two children, Shawn Ingram and Sarita Jean Ingram; brothers, Pete Castillo, Felix Valdez, and Manuel Valdez; and sisters, Rosie Ortiz and Ruby Martinez.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton, Oklahoma, with Rev. Joshua Wall and Caleb Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lookeba Cemetery in Lookeba, Oklahoma, services entrusted to Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.
