Tim Dale Ferguson Obituary
Tim Ferguson was born on December 3, 1970, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, to Rudel Ferguson and Peggy Jo (Stevenson) Blakely. He passed away on January 8, 2026, in Watonga, Oklahoma, at the age of 55. Tim grew up in the Lookeba–Sickles area and graduated from Oney High School in 1989. He made his home in Lookeba, Oklahoma, a place he always returned to no matter how far his work took him. On July 23, 1994, Tim married the love of his life, Tricia Garrison, in Bellefonte, Arkansas. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Tim worked for ONEOK, a career that required frequent travel, but his heart was always at home with his family. Tim loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He never met a stranger and was always ready for a road trip, vacation, or spontaneous adventure. He was known as the dependable one—the man everyone called when something needed fixing or when an extra hand was needed. One of Tim’s greatest passions was riding his motorcycle, which he lovingly named Jolene. Riding brought him peace, and he often called it his “wind therapy.” He especially enjoyed planning rides with his best friend, Tim Feuerborn—affectionately known as “Unicorn”—and riding with his motorcycle family, the Storm Riders. Those friendships meant the world to him, and the bond they shared was mutual and strong. Tim had a gentle heart and a great sense of humor. He liked to joke and tease those he loved and had a few ornery streaks that kept everyone laughing. He was famously the best driver on every girls’ trip and proudly held the title without question. Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Tricia Ferguson of the home in Watonga, Oklahoma; his children, Jayde Ferguson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Cody Ferguson of Binger, Oklahoma; and Joshua Taylor and wife Rebecca of Fort Drum, New York. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dekker Ferguson and Jaxxon Ferguson, both of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and Rylee Taylor and Josie Taylor of Fort Drum, New York, brother-in-law, Lewis Garrison and wife Robin of Moore, OK, nephew, Tindel Garrison and wife Kirsten of Jacksonville, FL, and niece, Laryn Roberts and husband Will of Oklahoma City, OK. Additional survivors include his best friend, Tim Feuerborn and wife Peggy of El Reno, Oklahoma; his very dear and close friends, Andrea Lauminick, Cora Wieczorrek, Katie Parker, Ron Perry, and Amanda Montgomery; along with many other relatives and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy Blakely and Rudel “Rudy” Ferguson, and his longtime best friend and rodeo partner, Monty Phillips, whom Tim considered a brother.
