Shirley Reed Obituary

Shirley Ann (Kessler) Reed was born on April 25, 1950 in El Reno, OK to Robert Cecil and Imogene (Findley) Kessler. Shirley passed away on April 12, 2024 in Ardmore, OK at the age of 73. Shirley grew up in Hinton and El Reno and later moved to Yukon to raise her son, Brian. She worked and retired from Hertz as a billing analyst. Shirley enjoyed camping at Red Rock Canyon, loved all the family reunions, and hanging out with her family and her friends. She loved music from the 50’s and 60’s and loved Christian music. What Shirley especially loved was spending time outside watching wildlife, spending time with her great granddaughters and she loved time with her family. She was a genuinely nice person who loved the Lord. Shirley will be missed by all those who loved her.

 

 

Survivors Include: her son, Brian Reed and wife Sonya Isley of Ardmore, OK, her grandson, Laramie Isley and wife Tiffany of Ardmore, OK, her great granddaughters, Cheyenne and Kaycee Isley of Ardmore, OK, her siblings, Carolyn Ring of Hinton, Ok, Charlotte Long of OKC, OK, and Robert Lynn Kessler of Yukon, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

 

 

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Imogene Kessler, her brother, Cecil Duane Kessler, and her nephew, Jason Ring.
