Shirley Jane Rade was born on July 22, 1939 in Geary, OK to Earl G. and Lydia E. (White) Bohn.  She passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Hydro, OK.

Shirley grew up in the Geary area and attended Geary Public Schools.  She married Edwin Rade on December 22, 1961 in El Reno, OK.  The couple soon moved to El Reno where they lived for many years.  She and Edwin enjoyed dancing together at the El Reno American Legion and attended church at the Baptist Church in El Reno.  Shirley bought and drank Pepsi by the "truckload."  She was always very artistic;  She loved crocheting, doing beadwork, making jewelry and doilies and had a great eye for color. 

Shirley is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Majors of Hinton, OK and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Lydia Bohn; husband, Edwin Rade; and siblings, Kenneth & Melvin Bohn and June Nix.
