Sherry Louise Pierson, 82, of Healdton, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on December 16, 1942, in Binger, Oklahoma, to Earl Beecher Mogg and Mabel Marie (Moser) Mogg.  Sherry attended school in Binger and Rush Springs Schools. On August 19, 1962, she married Dale Pearson in Oklahoma City. The couple lived in Oklahoma City, then moved to Texas, later returning to Binger and eventually settling in Healdton, Oklahoma. Dale preceded her in death on June 19, 2008.  Throughout her life, Sherry worked in a variety of roles and was known for her strong work ethic and love of simple pleasures. She especially enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. Most importantly, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hinton, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her three sons: Damon Pierson and wife Christi, Don Pierson and wife Cynthia of Plainview, Texas, and Daron Pierson and wife JoAnn; her grandchildren,  her two brothers, Wayne Mogg and wife Kay of Binger, Oklahoma, and Earl Mogg and wife Sharon of Yukon, Oklahoma, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Pierson Sr.; her son, Dale “Skippy” Pierson; and her brother, Wendell Mogg.

Graveside services will be held at the Binger Cemetery on Friday, 2:00 PM, May 16, 2025, with Reverend Mark Price officiating.
