Sarabelle “Sally” Reckard was born April 19, 1930 to Stanley and Ruby Belle (Fries) Ege in Moline, IL.  She passed away Sunday September 4, 2022 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Weatherford, OK at the age of 92.  Sally graduated from Moline High School in Moline, IL.  She married Robert Reckard October 24, 1948 in Moline, IL and he preceded her in death May 5, 2014 in Weatherford, OK.  He and Sally retired in Colorado Springs, CO and eventually moved back to Hinton, OK. While in Colorado Sally worked at Target and worked in Weatherford, OK at Wal Mart.  She enjoyed Hummingbirds, cats, sewing, making crafts, and bowling.  Sally was a member of the Gilbert-Fossett American Legion Post 230 Women’s Auxiliary, and a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School.  Sally raised her kids in church which was very important to her. 

Survivors Include her children, Terry Pawelek and husband Barry of Hinton, OK, Drexa Ollis and husband Robert of Elk Park, NC, and William Reckard and his wife Arlene of Palm Coast, FL; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her children, Emmy Pierce, Larry Reckard, and Robin Mays, her grandchildren, Bridgett Fregeau, Patricia Bashore and Kelly Klassen, and Rob Mays.
