Russell Lee Morrison

Russell Lee Morrison was born on July 9, 1946 in Watonga, OK to Carl and Clydena "Hartsie" (Crain) Morrison.  He passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his home in Watonga, OK at the age of 77.  Russell grew up in Hitchcock, OK and graduated from Watonga High School.  Russell worked at Hollytex Spinning Mill and later Opportunities, Inc.  He served as the Mayor for the city of Watonga and was a board member for Opportunities, Inc.  Russell was a caregiver to both of his parents and was loved by many in the community.  He was a lifelong member of the Hitchcock Methodist Church in Hitchcock.

Survivors include:  cousins, Lori Collins and husband Eddie of Denver, CO, Rita Blair of Sparta, GA

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Clydena "Hartsie" Morrison and his brother, Jim Morrison.
