Roy L. McLemore

Roy L. McLemore was born on May 31, 1947, in Binger, OK to Denver and Marie (Long) McLemore. Roy passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 76. Roy graduated from Sickles High School. He married Linda Ellis on November 20, 1965, in Hinton, OK. They lived in Eakly for a short time before moving to Hinton. Roy worked as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed fishing and collecting knives and coins. Roy was saved and baptized at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hinton, OK. Roy adored his grandkids and his great grandkids.

Survivors Include: his wife, Linda McLemore of Hinton, OK, his children, Ron McLemore and wife Katy of Hinton, OK, and Bryan McLemore and wife Robin of Hinton, OK, his grandchildren, Josh McLemore and wife Haley of El Reno, OK, Kylie Dougherty and husband Andrew of Hinton, OK, Dawson McLemore and wife Autumn of Hinton, OK, Madison Opitz and husband Stephen of Ft. Cobb, OK, and Kalen McLemore of Hinton, OK, his great grandchildren, Blakely, Everett, Carsyn, and Parker, his brother, Robert McLemore and wife Lottie of Colby, KS, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Denver and Marie McLemore and 5 siblings, Lee McLemore, Junior McLemore, Orada Birge, Minnie Lois Rodrick and Norma Byrom.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
