Romilda Helen Weathers was born May 14, 1919 in Bridgeport, Oklahoma to Val and Pearl (Northrop) Seurer. She departed this world on Saturday October 31, 2020 at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Oklahoma at the age of 101. Romilda grew up in Bridgeport and attended Bridgeport and Hinton schools. She married Wayne Weathers on April 3, 1939 and they lived on the farm west of Hinton. She worked at Louise’s Dress Shop, owned and operated Hinton florist and worked in the Hinton Tag Agency with Erma Burkhalter. After Wayne’s passing in 1966, she married Ed Robertson and he preceded her in death in 1979.
She enjoyed her yard and garden, bowling, cross stitch and making many, many pictures including Thomas Kincade works, playing cards, traveling with her Club ladies, and antiquing with Wayne.
Romilda was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and later joining Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors Include: her daughter Sharron Morrison and husband Larry of Livonia, Michigan, 3 grandchildren; Jana Kay Morrison and Charlene of Henderson, Nevada, Larry Wayne Morrison and wife Barb of Sanford, Michigan, Michael James Morrison and wife Michele of Westland, Michigan, 2 Great grandchildren; Aaron Kay Morrison and Cat of Garden City, Michigan, Tyler James Morrison of Westland, Michigan, 2 Great-Great grandchildren; Jensen Michael Zilz of Garden City, Michigan and Jaxon James Morrison of Garden City, Michigan, many, many beloved nieces and nephews, and special friends, Lillie Cox, Joe and Colleen Helderman, and Craig and Alicia Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Val and Pearl Seurer, her husbands Wayne Weathers and Ed Robertson, 2 brothers; Jim Seurer and his wife Alma, Leonard Seurer, and grand daughter-in-law; Lynne Morrison.
