Robert Glenn Muzingo was born on September 8, 1952 in Leavenworth, KS to Donald Lorn and Mary Katherine (Rogers) Muzingo. Robert passed away on May 24, 2024 at his home in Minco, OK at the age of 71. Robert grew up in Kansas in his early years and various other places since his father was in the US Navy. He was drafted into the US Army after graduating from Yukon High School. He served in Turkey and Germany during this time and was very proud of his service. Robert married Judy Gail Gibbs on October 16, 1982 in Yukon, OK. They had a son, Howard, and moved to Cogar in 1989 where they lived for the rest of their lives. Robert loved his family and showed it many ways; he wrote Judy a note every day, sometimes something little, sometimes just to say, ‘I love you’, he planted flowers, vegetables, and trees for her often whistling while he gardened, enjoying playing in the dirt and everything God had provided for him and his family. He found great solace in the fresh air, the sound of leaves, and puppies and kittens. He loved hard work as much as all of those things since he knew that hard work was how you got to all of those things. His son, Howard, says the best thing my Dad taught me was patience, always follow God’s lead, let God take care of things, you be patient. Robert was loved for his strength, his patience, his kindness for others, and his great faith. He will be missed by all those who loved him.

Survivors Include: his son, Howard and wife Mellanie of Blanchard, OK, his grandchildren, James Muzingo of Blanchard, OK, Sarah Muzingo of Texas, Jaden Givens of Tryon, OK, and Zaxx Muzingo of Blanchard, OK, his great grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary Muzingo, and his beloved wife, Judy Muzingo.

Robert’s family will have a private family service at a later date.
