Robert Maxwell Morris was born on November 16, 1939 in El Reno, OK to John William and Ethel (Folsom) Morris. Bob passed away on February 10, 2023 in Hydro, OK at the age of 83. He grew up in El Reno, OK and lived most of his life in Oklahoma. He married Onie Viola “Bid” Ward on April 23, 1980.

Bob was a plumber from the age of 14 to 70 years. He enjoyed doing Boy Scouts with his son, John, and was always proud of all his accomplishments in Scouting. He was a FORD guy that loved his cars and trucks. Bob also liked camping, fishing, watching TV, OU Football and watching Westerns, and visiting with grandson Dakota all about football.

 

Survivors Include: his son, John Morris and wife Tara Bomhoff of Watonga, OK, his stepdaughters. Dee Houston and husband Johnnie of Del City, OK, Sharon Van Buskirk and husband Darryl of Everett, MI, and Jenni McDaniel of Racine, WI, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends.

 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Morris, his wife, Onie Viola “Bid” Morris, his sister, Marie Musgrove, and his great nephew, Phret Wright.
