Rick Hauschildt was born in Tucson, AZ on October 16, 1959 to Roland and Darlene (Palmer) Hauschildt. He passed away on March 14, 2023 in Yukon, OK at the age of 63. Rick grew up in Elk City, OK and lived there until he was about 13 years old then the family moved to Texas and lived in Wheeler and Shamrock for many years before moving to Hinton, OK, around 1983, where Rick lived most of his adult life. He married Denice Piearcy and they had two children together, Ryan and Rechelle. Rick worked as a oilfield roughneck since he was young and for the past 12 years he worked at Wheeler’s Chevrolet as a service technician. Some people called him “Texas Rick”. Rick was a free spirit, with a laid-back disposition, and enjoyed making others laugh. He loved to ride Harleys, always wanted to be on the open road. He did enjoy going to the casino, having a beer, and did enjoy cannabis. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
Survivors Include: his son, Ryan Hauschildt of Hinton, OK, his daughter, Rechelle Dreyer and husband Justin of Lookeba, OK, his grandchildren, Christian Dean, Rayah Denice, Dexter Dean, and Jayson Tylor, his siblings, Sheryl Wulf of Stephenville, TX, Brenda Delay of Hinton, OK, and Sandy Ramsey and husband Jeff of Fort Cobb, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Hauschildt and Darlene Tedford, his wife, Denice Piearcy Hauschildt, and his grandparents, Robert and Henrietta Palmer.
