Richard Redus, Jr. Obituary

Richard Lee Redus, Jr. was born on October 18, 1956 in Jackson, CA to Richard Sr. and Carol (Daniels) Redus. He passed away on May 14, 2025 at his home in Binger, OK at the age of 68. He grew up in Binger, OK after his mother remarried Jim Warren and together they raised their family. Richard joined the US Army and was always very proud of his service, a proud American and a strong supporter of the Republican party. Richard was a hard worker and through the years, he worked in the oilfield as a roughneck, tool pusher, and well tester; a long-haul truck driver, a mechanic that could fix anything and a carpenter who built numerous houses in this area. He also volunteered at the Binger Fire Department and enjoyed helping others. He was a friend to everyone and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He had a lifelong ambition to learn to fly planes, loved riding motorcycles, and loved going camping and fishing at the lake. Richard married Vera Yandell on April 24, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV. Richard was a loving father, husband, and friend, and a proud doting Papa. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

Survivors Include: his wife, Vera Redus of Binger, OK, his children, Dustin Redus and wife Jenna of Carson City, NV, Curtis Redus and wife Nicole of Wichita, KS, Kristina Ratts and husband Tyson of Owasso, OK, and Kevin Baldwin of Mustang, OK, his eight grandchildren, his siblings, Carolyn Mackey of El Reno, OK, Bobby Warren and wife Sheryl of Binger, OK, and Matt Redus of Kingfisher, his step-mother, Pat Redus of Kingfisher, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.
