Rebecca "Becky" I. (Cunningham) Terry

Rebecca “Becky” I. Terry was born on December 28, 1926, in Redlands, California to Charles Curtis Cunningham and Lavina (Patterson) Cunningham. Becky passed away at her home in Binger, OK on April 14, 2023, at the age of 96. She grew up in Redlands, CA and met Glen Terry. They were married at the Gretna Green Wedding Chapel in Yuma, Arizona in 1943. The couple moved to Oney, Oklahoma in 1958 and raised their family there. Becky loved to grow and tend her flowerbeds throughout the years. She was always keeping in touch with all her family members and friends. She enjoyed getting together with them and always remembered everyone’s birthdays or anniversaries, she had an amazing memory. She was always concerned about other people and wanted to see to their needs and happiness. In her 70’s, Becky made her rounds to all the nursing homes and surrounding communities to visit the “Old Ladies”. Becky was a longtime member of the Oney Baptist Church and was their oldest living member. She was a great prayer warrior and faithfully went down the prayer list for her church family. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.

Survivors Include: her children, Alan Terry and wife Sharon of Binger, OK, Lori Lamb and husband Eric of Mesa, AZ, and Mike Terry and wife Darla of Enid, OK, her grandchildren, Travis Terry, Summer Terry, John Terry, and Jason Terry, many great and great-great grandchildren, and her close friend Marie Harvey of Binger, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lavina Cunningham, her husband, Glen Terry, three sisters, and one brother.
