Phillip Daniel Choat was born October 9, 1950 in Oklahoma City to Hollis Dewey and Effie Rachel (Downing) Choat. He passed away July 6, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Phillip graduated from High School in Calumet in 1968, after graduation he married Debra May Malone, he worked in the oil fields for 40 year while living in Calumet until 2000 and they moved to Geary, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hollis Dewey Choate and Effie Rachel Dowling, his wife Debra May Malone, 2 sisters, Rosezetta Choat, Margie Massey, and brothers William “Sun”, Odis, and Danny.
Survivors Include: His children; Kimberly Snyder and her husband Michael of Calumet, Deborah Williams and husband Brent of Geary, Jaime Choat of Geary, and Jennifer Leck and husband Brian of Geary. Nine Grandchildren: Megan, Micha, Macy, Matthew, and Andy Snyder, Audrey and Dallas Williams, Isabelle and Ashlyn Choat, and Melanie and Ian Leck. One Great Grandson, Stetson Williams. Sisters: Ethel Gooden of El Reno, Peggy Massey of Calumet, Julene Crawford of Tahlequah and brother Floyd Choat and Jean of Rainbow, Texas.

Burial: Graveside Services will held 10:00 AM on Friday, July 12, at Sunset Cemetery in Geary, OK
