Orval R. Barringer was born on May 6, 1946 in Lookeba, OK to David Charles and Bertha Nina (Myers) Barringer.  He passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Binger, OK. Orval grew up and graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School in 1964.  Following graduation, joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served our country for 6 years.  He then began working for Aero Commander in Bethany, Ok followed by 3M in Weatherford, OK where he later retired. Orval attended the First Baptist Church in Hydro, OK.

Survivors include his wife, Nettie Barringer of Corn, OK; daughter, Karla Sharry and husband Steven of Lookeba, OK; one grandson, Raedan Sharry of Lookeba, OK; and brother-in-law, Floyd Smith.

Orval was preceded in death by his parents, David and Bertha Barringer; brother, Kenneth Barringer; and sister, Ima Jean Smith.

Graveside Services:  Monday, July 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Lookeba Cemetery, Lookeba, OK.
