Nancy (Hale) Porter was born on November 19, 1932 in Glencoe, NM to Henry and Francis (Fritz) Hale. Nancy passed away on June 27, 2024 in Binger, OK at the age of 91. Nancy grew up in Glencoe, NM. Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in education and taught first and second grade in Ruidoso, NM for 33 years. Nancy loved plants and had a real green thumb. She had her own greenhouse and loved to grow flowers and plants. Nancy was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Binger, OK.  

Survivors Include: her son, Cutter McCarty of Binger, OK, her five grandchildren, her five great grandchildren, and her sister, Katheryn Williams of Glencoe, NM, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Francis Hale, her husband John Porter, and her daughter, Paula Kiker.

Family will have services at a later date.
