Nadine Ann (Krewall) Schoolcraft

Nadine Ann (Krewall) Schoolcraft was born on December 19, 1937 in Corn, OK to Adolph D. and Rosa Mae (Kasper) Krewall. She passed away on September 26, 2021 in Chickasha, OK at the age of 83. Nadine graduated from Eakly High School in 1956 and from SWOSU with a bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Reading Specialist. She married Tommy J. Schoolcraft on June 10, 1955 in Corn, OK.  

She worked side by side with Tommy for over 50 years on the farm until retirement. He was the love of her life. She taught elementary education at Oney, Lookeba-Sickles, and Binger schools. Nadine enjoyed her grandchildren, loved reading, writing poetry, and sewing. She was a member of Oakdale Women’s Auxiliary and a longtime member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church. When she moved to Brookdale in Chickasha, she served as an ambassador.

Survivors Include: her children, Treva Parrish and husband Rick of Rush Springs, OK, and Terri Simonds and husband Charles, Jr. of Moore, OK, her grandchildren, Kimberly Kelley and husband Brian, Jodeann Parrish, Bobby Simmons and wife Brandilyn, Trent Parrish and wife Jamie, MaeLee Merritt and fiancé Zarnique Tucker, and Brian Simonds and wife Sue, her great grandchildren, Asher, Isabella, and River Kelley, Lilly and Colt Taliaferro, John, Connor, Tommy, and Madilyn Simmons, Case, Teagan, and Jalyn Parrish, AmberLynn and Brayden Merritt, Zoё Tucker, and Dean Simonds, her siblings, Dorothy Schmidt of Corn, OK, and Wynema Hildebrand and husband Dewayne of Norman, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

 Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Rosa Mae Krewall, her husband, Tommy Schoolcraft, and her brother, Lee Roy Krewall.
