Monty James Ramming was born February 3, 1967, in Omaha, NE, to Bob and Darlene Ramming.  He passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at his home in Hinton, OK at the age of 56.  Other than a few short months as an infant Monty grew up in Hinton, OK. He was active in Ag, FFA, and wrestled during those years.  He was the president of his graduating class of 1985. Monty was awarded a State FFA degree and was on the state runner up livestock judging team in 1985. After graduation he attended Connors State College on a livestock judging scholarship.  He met Pam Cooper in their first semester there.  The couple were married January 15, 1986, in Eufaula, OK.  Monty graduated from Connors and then later from Oklahoma State University in 1993.  Monty and Pam moved their family back to Hinton in 1993.  Monty went into commercial hog business with his uncle, Dick Ramming, for some years and then worked at the Co-op and later for the Oklahoma Conservation Commission.  He earned many honors while working at the soil conservation office including Employee of the Quarter.  He was recently awarded the title supervisor of the feral hog program for the state.  Monty was a founding member of the Redneck Riviera Club and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hinton.

Monty is survived by his wife Pam, 3 children, Kaci Lenaburg and husband Ryan of Hinton, OK, Anndee Turner and husband Yancy of Perkins, OK and Ryan Ramming of Nashville, TN, 3 grandchildren, Blaize Sharry, and Bryer and Bennett Lenaburg,

father, Bob Ramming of Hinton, OK, 3 siblings, Rhonda Matheson and husband Scott of Perkins, OK, Ronald Ramming of Warner, OK and Michael Ramming of Pryor, OK, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 

Monty was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Ramming and his grandparents, Elmer and Irene Ramming, Ralph Mason, and Madelyn Mason Ryker and Gayle Ryker.
