Monte Rex Moyer

Monte Rex Moyer was born on March 31, 1963 in Oklahoma City, OK to Rex Melburn and Joyce Lee (Moore) Moyer. He passed away on February 14, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 57. Monte graduated from Mustang High School where he was active in sports including football and wrestling. He attended SOCJC in OKC, OK. He worked various jobs and had been a health inspector with the state of Oklahoma for over 30 years. He also worked as a private investigator for many years and owned and operated Moyer Saddle & Tack.  Monte loved Longhorn cattle, antiques, horses, cars, saddles, motorcycles, and was a good mechanic, He was a team roper as a young man. Monte loved his family, always making sure they were taken care of. He was a member of AQHA, the Longhorn Association, the International Texas Longhorn Association, and a member of Cogar United Methodist Church where he was very active. 

Survivors include: his children, Crystal Moyer of Mustang, OK, and Caleb Moyer and wife Desirae of Piedmont, OK, his grandchildren, Troy and Amber of Mustang, OK, and Aubree and Roman Moyer of Piedmont, his sisters, Dayna Lynn Roberts and Marci Moyer, his brother in law Willie D Roberts, as well as Many other relatives and friends.  

Monte was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Joyce Moyer.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
