Minnalee Alberta Stewart was born on January 8, 1931, to Marshall and Vada (Smith) Smith at her home in Hinton, Oklahoma. She passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 94.

Minnalee was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at the age of 12. She married the love of her life, James Richard “Bebo” Stewart, on May 25, 1948, in El Reno, Oklahoma. They shared a lifetime of love and devotion until his passing on April 23, 1998, in Hinton.  Minnalee worked at Legacy Bank for over 30 years. 

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Ronald Stewart and his wife, Gina, of Elk City; grandchildren, Chad Fulton and his wife, Jennifer, of Oklahoma City, Brad Fulton and his wife, Julie, of Edmond, Crystal Stewart of Oklahoma City, OK, and Valerie Fairless and her husband, Johnathan, of Yukon; and great-grandchildren, Cade Fulton, Daxton Fulton, Avery Fulton, McKinley Fulton, Henry Fairless, and Braiden Fairless.

Minnalee is also survived by her siblings, June Heldermon and Joy Miller, both of Hinton, and Travis Smith and his wife, Cherril, of Weatherford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Veda Smith; her stepmother, Lorene Smith; her husband, Bebo Stewart; her daughter, Carolyn Fulton; and siblings, Marcus Smith, and Harlan Smith, and Marsha McSparrin.

Minnalee will be remembered for her faith, kindness, and devotion to her family. Her legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Viewing will be at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, daily starting Monday
