Michael Leon Warden

Michael Leon Warden, Sr. was born on December 18, 1940 in Okemah, Ok to Brice S. and Jewell E. (DeSpain) Warden. He passed away on March 23, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 80. He attended Hinton Schools. Michael was a truck driver for many years and worked for the Salvation Army until his health prevented him from working. He had a passion for music; played guitar and wrote poetry and music.

Survivors include: his son, Michael Leon Warden, Jr., many nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.  

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Brice and Jewell Warden, his son, David Matthew Clark, his siblings, Roy Wesley, Kenneth, William B. (Jim), and Bill Warden, Alta Ferguson, Naomi Bowman, and Lola Belle Thompson.  

Graveside Services:  Niles Cemetery, Saturday, 11:00 AM, March 27, 2021, Hinton, OK
