Michael Andrew Pickering

Michael Andrew Pickering was born on March 12, 1982 in Ada, OK to Legus and Nancy (Kaskaske) Pickering. Michael passed away on May 8, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 41. He grew up in Oklahoma City and was a brick mason and construction worker. Michael enjoyed food, fishing, cooking, grilling, drawing, Del Rancho “Steak sandwich supreme, with onion rings, a root beer and apple pie or Cinnabons ”.going on nature walks, dressing up, and liked Oldies Lowrider, R&B and Rap music. He always wanted to be an MMA & UFC fighter and really enjoyed watching and talking about those matches. His favorite baseball team is the White Sox. Most of all, Michael loved his family; his children, his grandchildren (he enjoyed being a grandpa), and he loved all of his nieces, nephews, siblings, and his Mom and Dad. He will be missed by all those who loved him.

Survivors Include: his children, Angel, Adam, Ashlyn, Aundrea, Mariah, Ivan, Sebastian, Shania Pickering, his 8 grandchildren, his parents, Legus and Nancy Pickering, his siblings, Rhonda Kaskaske, Kojak Salazar, and Jimitra Salazar, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Nikki Pickering.
