Michael Wayne East was born on September 27, 1994 in Weatherford, OK to Ricky Joe East and Ann Janette Carney. Michael passed away on August 10, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 30. Michael grew up in Binger, OK. He loved to spend time with family and was always happy to play with his niece and nephew and little cousins. One of his fondest memories was going fishing with his grandma. Michael loved scary movies and action movies, liked to take walks with Rocky, and liked hanging out with his big brother. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

Survivors Include: his parents, Ricky East of Chickasha, OK, Ann Carney of OKC,OK, his grandparents, Vernon Bruce of Binger, OK, his siblings, Kourtney Findley and husband Joshua, and their children, Allison and Asher all of Binger, OK, Amanda Papke and her children, Brandon, Johnathan, Ethan, Patience, and Jayde all of Chickasha, OK, and Ricky Joe East, Jr. of Pocasset, OK, his cousins, Lindsey and Johnathan Thiessen and kids, Todd and Sabri Walsh and kids, Jason and Kelsey Walsh and kids all of Binger Oklahoma, Shelby Carney of Texas, Billy Carney of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Talon Carney of IL his aunts and uncles, Wayne East of Hinton, OK, Wilson Carney of IL, Jimmy Walton of Binger, OK, Karen Carney of Muskogee, OK, and Freda Walsh and husband Tracy of Binger, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol and Sue East, and his grandmother, Janice Bruce.

Michael’s family will hold a celebration of Life on August 23rd, 2025 and meet at Murray Cemetery at 10 am, Binger, OK.
