Mary Faye Poor Abbott was born August 2, 1945 to Guy and Ethel (Poor) Kilpatrick in Johnson, Arkansas.  She passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79.  Mary lived in the Lookeba area.  She was united in marriage to Chris Poor and from this union was born Timmy and Lisa.   Mary worked at the health department   She helped raise Terri, Amber, and Shelia as well as numerous other kids throughout the years.  She owned and operated Mary’s Place for many years.   She later married Don Abbott, and they lived in Foss, OK where she cleaned houses and was a caretaker.  She enjoyed riding her golf cart playing pool and loved hanging out with her close friend Tootie and missing her dear friend Kay Walters.  Brother Tom Clifton led Mary to the Lord at the baptism of her grandchildren. 

Survived by two children, Timmy Poor and Lisa Rico both Lookeba,  Oklahoma; foster children, Terri, Amber, and Shelia; grandchildren, Enrique “Ricky” Rico, Luis “Louie” Rico, Marisa Rico, Ashlee Prather, Patience Lightfoot, Sadie Burton, Sherri Shelton, Katie Caldwell, Jona Shelton, and too many great grandchildren to name; brothers, Bobby Kilpatrick and wife Shirley of Union City, OK, Vernon Kilpatrick and wife Ruby of Hinton, Chris Kilpatrick of Duncan, OK, and Victor Kilpatrick of Lookeba, OK; as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. 

Service: Sickles Community Church, Wednesday, 1:00 pm, August 21, 2024, Lookeba, OK
