Mary Frances (Robertson) Marsh

Mary Frances (Robertson) Marsh was born April 19, 1938, in Cement, OK to Walter Elmer Robertson and Trevah Katheryn (Gilger) Robertson.  She was the second oldest of 7 children.  Mary passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Binger, OK at the age of 85.

She was raised on a farm West of Cement and was taught to work hard.  As a child, she even helped with all types of farm work including walking behind a horse with a plow.

In 1953, she met Dillon Marsh, the love of her life.  On August 28, 1954, they were married in the Cement Assembly of God Church.  They were married for 63 years and 5 months when the Lord called Dillon home.  Mary worked beside Dillon in the TV Repair Shop and worked beside him throughout his ministry.  She served as a Sunday School teacher and helped in the church in any way she could.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hinton.

Mary loved to bake and can garden vegetables.  She kept her family and friends in zucchini bread and made the best chicken-n-noodles.  She liked crocheting and putting together puzzles.

Mary was a cook for the Lookeba-Sickles school district for 10 years. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dillon Marsh; 2 brothers, Walter and Martin Robertson; 3 sisters, Ida Mae, Geneva and Erma Robertson; and her parents, Elmer and Trevah Robertson.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Barbara Lierle and husband Terry of Hydro, OK and Pat Lisenbery and husband Terry of Binger, OK; 5 grandchildren, Justin Lierle and wife Brianna, Shana Lierle, Travis Lisenbery and wife Denea, Trevor Lisenbery and wife Brandi and Makayla Headrick; 12 great grandchildren, Trenton, Bethany and Trevin Lisenbery, Tabrey and Tayten Lierle, Makila, Joshlin and Jacob Headrick, Daithan Kitchko, Paitan Lisenbery, Brittney VonAllman and Camrey Opitz; 1 great great grandchild, Bentlee Ybarra; 1 sister, Katheryn Etheridge of Lawton, OK; and her beloved little dog, Buddy.

Service: 10AM Thursday, August 17, 2023, Sickles Community Church, Lookeba, OK
