Marina Jolea (Lopez) Gaytan

Marina Jolea Lopez Gaytan was born May 7, 1985, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Francisco Lopez and Patricia Riggles. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 41. Marina graduated from Watonga High School in 2003 and later attended Canadian Valley Technology Center. She eventually made her home in El Reno, Oklahoma. On September 21, 2007, Marina was united in marriage to Rogelio Gaytan in Concho, Oklahoma. Marina was Baptist by faith. Marina cherished her family. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment she was able to spend with them. The love she had for her family was an important part of who she was, and the memories she created with them will remain in their hearts forever.

Those left to cherish Marina’s memory include her husband, Rogelio Gaytan of Mexico; her four children, Brayan Gaytan, Angelica Gaytan, Martha Gaytan, and Riann Riggles, all of El Reno, Oklahoma; her three grandchildren, Amilio, Stormi, and Anani Gaytan; her three sisters, Amy Riggles, Jennifer Riggles, and Lori Escobedo, all of El Reno, Oklahoma; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Marina was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Lopez and Patricia Riggles, and her grandmother, Norma Riggles.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Concho Community Center. A service will follow at 5:30 P.M. at the Concho Community Center, with Gordon Yellowman officiating.

Marina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
