Marilyn (Williams) Threlkeld

Marilyn Threlkeld was born on September 27, 1952, in Lawton, OK to Buntin and Darlene (Wooster) Williams.  She passed away surrounded by her family on August 8, 2023, in Laramie, WY at the age of 70.

Marilyn grew up in the Binger area.  She married Richard Threlkeld in Las Vegas, NV and they made their home in the Binger/Lookeba area.  Marilyn served numerous terms on the Caddo Nation Tribal Council and many other tribal boards and committees over the years.  She was a member of the Caddo Culture Club and enjoyed traveling.  Her favorite place to visit was Hawaii.  She was baptized in the Catholic Church and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Binger, OK.

Survivors include husband, Richard Threlkeld of Binger, OK; children, Travis Threlkeld and wife Emily of Binger, OK and Brien Haumpo and wife Traci of Pauls Valley, OK; granddaughter, Daeliona Jalyn Williams Meeks, sisters, Carol Ross and husband Donnie of Lookeba, OK, Jacqueline "Jackie" Meeks of Lookeba, OK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Buntin and Darlene Williams; sister Sharon Silago and brother-in-law Clifford Silago and sister Lucy Wabaunasee and brother-in-law Walter Wabaunasee as well as infant daughter, Darla Irene Threlkeld (1991) who is buried in Babyland in OKC.

Service: 1pm, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Caddo Tribal Complex, Binger, OK.

Officiating: Mr. Bobby Gonzalez

Burial:  Murray Cemetery, Binger, OK
