Maria Dolores Delgado

Maria Dolores Delgado was born on February 27, 1961 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel Delgado and Belem Zamarron. She passed away on January 28, 2020 at her home in Anadarko, OK surrounded by her family at the age of 58. Maria and her husband came to the United States to work and raise their son, Jaime. Maria worked as a social worker for migrant workers, helping them get healthcare, visas, jobs, and community support. Above all, Maria loved her family. Her life was her husband, Aurelio Cervantes, her son Jaime Delgado, and her grandchildren, Michael and Isabella. When the grandchildren were little, they loved helping out with the cows at their grandparent’s place in Oney. They also loved shopping and spending time with her. She will be missed very much by all of those who loved her.

Survivors Include: her son, Jaime Delgado and wife Raenee, her grandchildren, Michael and Isabella Delgado, all of Ft. Cobb, OK, her sisters, Maria Delgado and Hortencia Delgado, the Williams Family, who were like second parents to Jaime, Patricia, Brad, Gregg, and Paul Williams, many relatives from the Cervantes side of the family, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Delgado and Belem Zamarron, her husband, Aurelio Cervantes, her sisters, Amelia and Elena Delgado, and her friend, Marrion Williams.
