Maria "Reyna" Rodriguez Acosta

Maria “Reyna” Rodriguez Acosta was born on January 6, 1953 in Durango, Mexico to Patricio and Luisa (Resendez) Rodriguez. Reyna passed away on January 12, 2023 at her home in Hinton, OK at the age of 70. She married Armando Acosta on May 8, 1976 and they have had 46 years together. They were blessed with their 2 daughters, Seny and Amaranda. She graduated in Mexico and worked as a lab technician in Durango, Mexico for 27 years. Reyna loved music, dancing, and going to concerts in Mexico and when she moved to the United States as well. She was a hard worker and worked all day but still had the energy to walk 2 miles in the evening until she became ill. Her family was everything to her; she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, and helping raise them. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her so much.

Survivors include: her husband, Armando Acosta of Hinton, OK, her daughters, Seny Acosta of Sayre, OK, and Amaranda Acosta of Bethany, OK, her grandchildren, Juan Galaviz, Jr., Jaylin Galaviz, and Jocelyn Galaviz of Sayre, OK, Eduardo Mendoza and Kamila Castillo of Bethany, her siblings, Rogelio Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Damian Rodriguez, Patricio Rodriguez, Jr., Rosario Rodriguez, Juanita Rodriguez, Catalina Rodriguez, and Patricia Rodriguez, as well as many other relatives and close friends.

 Reyna was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Luisa Rodriguez.
