Marconnia "Connie" Jarel Obituary

Marconnia Beth “Connie” Jarel was born September 25, 1952, to Dennis and Betty (Ferguson) Ledford in Boise City, Oklahoma. She passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Binger Nursing Home in Binger, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.  Connie graduated from Cement High School in 1971. She met Johnny Jarel at his dad’s cattle sale in Anadarko while she was there buying cattle with her dad, and the couple was united in marriage on September 9, 1971, in Wheeler, Texas. They made their home in the Albert-Oney area, where they were involved in farming the Jarel family home place.  Connie worked as a CMA at the Hinton Community Nursing Home and later at Victorian Estates in Yukon, Oklahoma, all while helping Johnny on the farm and with trucking. She enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, camping, gambling, traveling to Las Vegas and Tunica, and especially spoiling her grandchildren. Connie was known as an exceptional cook and was famous for her homemade cinnamon rolls and noodles. Instead of birthday cakes, Connie lovingly made homemade cinnamon rolls for her children’s birthdays. Her favorite grandchild was her granddaughter, Connar.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Jarel of the home in Binger, Oklahoma; two daughters, Pamela Marchio of Binger and Paula Jarel Robinson and husband Eric of Binger; grandchildren, Brandon Marchio and wife Lauralee of Eakly, Mallorie Thomasson of Oklahoma City, OK, Connar Jarel and fiancé Dakota Law of Oney, and Colby Robinson of Binger; great-grandchildren, Kayven and Lane Marchio, Willow Brown, and Johnny Law; two brothers, Frank Ledford and wife Linda of Seiling, Oklahoma, and Greg Ledford and wife Connie of Cement, Oklahoma; and two step-brothers, Ted Ledford of Chickasha and Dennie Ledford.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Betty Ledford, and two grandchildren, Colton and Carl and her sister Jan Ledford.
