Mac Ray Winkler was born on February 12, 1946 in Anadarko, OK to Harold Gilbert and Laura Maxine Winkler. He passed away on May 6, 2023 in Yukon, OK at the age of 77. Mac grew up in the Warr Acres area. Mac retired from AT&T after 30+ years. Mac enjoyed many things but loved doing things and spending time with his daughters, Whitney and Heather. He loved motorcycles and passed that love onto them, buying them each one of their own and teaching them how to ride. He also taught them all about camping, water skiing, fishing, and to sing along to Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson on their road trips. Mac loved FORD trucks, his dogs (the most recent is Baby Girl) hamburgers, hot dogs, and strawberry milkshakes. He loved to fix things and problems, usually the same day, and even if he was just listening, you always felt better after talking with him. He was very good at showing his love for his family, was very kind, never raised his voice, and was always present in his children’s lives, really knew them and provided that loving guidance that only a Dad can. He is going to be missed so very much.
