Louis Victor Boykin was born July 16, 1940 to Victor A. and Dorothy Louise (Blackwood) Boykin in Warren Arkansas. He passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Houston Healthcare Hospital in Conroe Texas at the age of 83. Louis graduated from Pine Bluff High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Harding University in Searcy Arkansas. He served seven years in the US Army Reserves and one year in the Army National Guard. He lived in Greenville Texas and worked as a computer programmer for E-Systems. He was united in marriage to Donna Bohn December 27, 1997 in Pine Bluff Arkansas and she preceded him in death November 29, 2021 in Greenville Texas. He enjoyed photography, was a master gardener for Hunt County, and a member of the Church Of Christ.
Survivors include one brother David Boykin and wife, Charlotte of Montgomery, Texas; three nephews; three nieces; and many great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Dorothy Boykin, his wife, Donna Boykin, and one brother John D. Boykin
