Lonnie Paul Mathews II

Lonnie Paul Mathews II was born August 30, 1971 to Lonnie Paul and Marilyn June (Funck) Mathews.  He passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his home in Calumet, OK at the age of 53.  Lonnie graduated from Geary High School.  He was united in marriage to April Leigh Evans December 31, 2008 in El Reno and she preceded him in death December 2, 2011 in Oklahoma City.  Lonnie lived in Calumet and worked in the HVAC Industry for many years.  He enjoyed traveling to different lakes and ponds and fishing and being outdoors.  He was baptized at the Baptist Church in Calumet, OK. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, April Mathews, and grandparents, Leon Mathews and Audra Miller. 

Survivors include his four sons, Evan Mathews and wife Kayli of Mustang, Ethan Daughety of Yukon, James Daughety of El Reno, and Jaxon Mathews of Calumet; grandchildren, Paxton, Parker, and Wyatt Mathews; his parents, Marilyn and Mike Foreman of Ft. Cobb, OK and Lonnie and Linda Mathews of Blanchard; siblings, Jill Ray of Calumet, Angie and Ben of El Reno, Amy and Rick Madron of Blanchard, and Ty and Kandi Vowell of Hinton; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at the Red Rock Methodist Church, 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2024, Calumet, OK with Rev. Mary Irby officiating.
